JEWELLERY REMODELLING

REDESIGN YOUR OLD JEWELLERY

Why Need Jewellery Remodelling?

Any piece of jewellery may have sentimental value to you, such as a pearl necklace you inherited from your grandmother but it had never been worn because the design is too old-fashioned. Also, it could be the first piece of jewellery you bought a decade ago that no longer fits your style. Over the years, most people have accumulated a collection of gemstones and gold jewellery that they no longer wear. If you are one of them, it's time to bring them back to life!

Redesign

Old to New Style

Transform your old jewellery or family heirloom into a brand new piece of jewellery that you will love to wear, while maintaining the sentimental value of each gemstone. For example, you can turn your old ring into a pendant or combine multiple pieces of jewel into a stunning necklace.

Reuse

Existing Gemstones

Reusing the gemstones from your original piece in your new jewellery setting is the best way to keep those precious memories alive. You can also consider incorporating new pearls with different colours and shapes, or other gemstones you already have in mind.

Recycle

Existing Gold Mountings

After the precious gems are removed, the gold jewellery settings will remain. You may want to melt down settings and mix with other precious metal such as white gold or platinum to create the new jewellery piece. However, this is optional as some prefer to choose an entirely new material.

Overall, refurbishing jewellery is an effective way to breathe new life into a piece of jewellery that is no longer worn or no longer fits the personal style. It can help preserve sentimental value and create a new, modern look that is loved.

The Process

How Does it Work?

At your appointment, show us your jewellery to be redesigned and tell us your design idea. We also need to know your style and preferences in order to offer you the best design options. From there, you can consider and decide if you want to use some or all of your original jewellery in your new creation.

How Long?

The time frame depends on the design and how complicated the remodelling project is. Typically, the jewellery making process takes about 4 to 6 weeks.

The Cost?

The cost of the makeover includes the craftsmanship, materials, and gemstones needed for the design. We will prepare an estimate with cost breakdown for you to review and consider before beginning the work.
